Claude operates like any standard Slack app: it is either enabled or disabled for an entire workspace. However, Claude does not automatically join or have access to all channels. It can only interact in two areas on Slack:
Direct messages (DMs). Claude can only read and respond in message threads in which it has been directly summoned using @Claude.
