Artifacts are a powerful way to create content within Claude. You can take your creations a step further by sharing them so others can engage with, and customize them. Similarly, if you see an artifact that you like, you can easily customize it to make it your own. This guide will walk you through the process of sharing your artifacts and customizing artifacts created by others.
Discovering and browsing artifacts
Discovering and publishing artifacts is currently available to free, Pro, and Max plan users on web, Claude for iOS and Android, and Claude Desktop.
For Claude for Work (Team and Enterprise plan) users: You can discover and browse artifacts within your organization, but artifacts are not published publicly. Instead, they are shared securely within your Team or Enterprise organization.

Customizing existing artifacts
Customizing artifacts is supported on free, Pro, Max, and Claude for Work (Team and Enterprise) plans.
Customizing allows you to build upon and modify existing artifacts:
When viewing an artifact, look for the "Customize" button.
Click the button to start a new Claude conversation with the artifact's content.
You'll be redirected to Claude, where you can modify and interact with the artifact.
Important: If you haven't used artifacts before, clicking "Customize" will automatically enable this feature for your account. Similarly, if you don’t currently have a Claude account, you will be prompted to sign up.
What happens when you customize an artifact
A new conversation will be created for you with Claude.
The original artifact's content will be added to your conversation.
You can then modify, expand upon, or use the artifact as inspiration for your own creations.
Sharing your artifacts
For free, Pro, and Max plan users
Artifacts can be shared publicly for anyone to view and interact with.
For Claude for Work (Team and Enterprise plan) users
On Team and Enterprise plans, artifacts are available to share internally, which allows anyone in your organization to view the artifact. Sharing the artifact will also allow access to attachments and files in the conversation.
Follow these steps:
Navigate to the artifact you want to share.
Ensure you're on the correct artifact version.
Look for the "Share" button.
Click "Share & copy link" to make this version of your artifact shareable.
Security features for Team and Enterprise organizations:
Artifacts created on Team or Enterprise user accounts can only be shared within the organization.
If an artifact is created from a project, users must also have access to that project to view and interact with that artifact.
Viewers must authenticate with their team account to access shared artifacts.
